Guinness, the little Corgi that has captured the hearts of people of central and eastern Iowa has been captured in a live trap and will be heading home! He was found this morning, alive and apparently healthy, after two weeks of roaming in the area of the accident that occurred on July 30. His owners are traveling back to Iowa for a reunion with their lost dog and will be taking him back home to Chicago.

Guiness remains lost after the vehicle he was riding in with his owners was overturned and totaled on Interstate 80 at the Newton, Iowa exit, near the overpass this past Friday, July 30. The couple and their two dogs were headed west to Colorado. One dog was thrown out of the vehicle and killed. Guiness, the Corgi remains missing since he fled the scene of the accident. Owners of a Corgi named Guiness were traveling west to Colorado for a two week vacation when their truck and camper were swept up in a cross wind created by a passing semi. The camper flew up over the truck and the vehicle and camper were overturned, totaling the brand new camper and truck . The couple's smaller dog, Peanut was thrown out the window and killed; the other dog, Guiness fled and has not yet been located.
